artsVest in Peterborough
Peterborough was one of four communities selected to participate in the first year of CBAC's artsVest program. The community was offered a
challenge fund of $50,000 with a potential to flow more than $100,000 of new funding to local arts organizations, as new dollars from the
business community were eligible to be matched dollar for dollar from the artsVest fund.
The results are now in, and the news is good! The $50,000 challenge fund was met and surpassed by Peterborough's business sector.
Successful partnerships between the business and the arts in Peterborough generated a total of $124,925
including artsVest's matching dollars for the local arts community.
